In a performance hours the official opening night of the musical, on November 13, 1997, the show's former actors, Jason Raize (Simba), Tsidii LeLoka-Lupindo (Rafiki), Scott Irby-Raniar (Young Simba) and Samuel E. Wright (Mufasa) performed "He Lives In You", "Endless Night", "They Live in You" and an amazing "Circle of Life", with chorus from Lebo M. and the original swings.

Alexia Khadime as Nala

You might recognize her as Elphaba in the London production of the hit musical Wicked, but Alexia Khadime was a former Nala in the London production of The Lion King. Here are some videos with her singing Shadowland and battling Scar.
